Windows

User must have the following permissions for the 'ibisfit' directory and all sub-directories:

• Full Control
• Modify
• Read and Execute
• List Folder Contents
• Read
• Write

To check permissions for user:

• Select the ibisfit folder.
• Right click and select "Properties".
• Select 'Security' tab (or option).

Macintosh

User must have the following permissions for the 'ibisfit' directory and all sub-directories:

• Ownership and Permissions: Read and Write
• Details
  • Owner: user (The user must have admin permissions)
  • Access: Read and Write

To check permissions for user:

• Select the 'ibisfit' folder
• Select the 'File' drop down menu from the top of your screen (Main window menu bar)
• Select 'Get Info'
• View the contents of the 'Ownership & Permissions:' section

Note: If the user installing FIT is still receiving permission errors, please try the following steps:

• Launch the Disk Utility from the Application -> Utilities directory.
• Select the 'HD'
• Select 'Repair Disk Permissions'
• Install FIT
